Associate Attorney
Karina Norberg is an associate attorney at the Law Office of Joshua Borken and handles workers’ compensation cases on behalf of Minnesota workers who have been injured on the job or have contracted an occupational disease and are seeking their rightful benefits. Karina has a genuine commitment to secure for her clients the maximum amount of compensation possible to cover their medical bills, replace lost wages, and other expenses related to work accidents.
Karina has served as a judicial law clerk at the Fourth Judicial District in Hennepin County and worked at two other prominent Minneapolis law firms for more than 2 years. During that time, she gained invaluable litigation skills which she now applies to her workers’ compensation practice.
Karina obtained her first Juris Doctor degree from San Marcos University in Lima, Peru. In 2008, Karina was awarded a full scholarship by the Ford Foundation to pursue her master’s degree in Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Karina then moved to Minnesota where she obtained her second Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Karina is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and in Peru. Holding both licenses give Karina unparalleled skills to provide legal representation services in both English and Spanish. Karina can fluently communicate and explain complex information to her Spanish-speaking clients.
Karina is a member of the Minnesota State Bar and the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association.
